Nursing school and stress is practically peanut butter and jelly. They
are inseparable! For this reason, I wished peanut butter and jelly didn’t
taste so good together. When I first entered the nursing program, I was not
physically and mentally prepared for this amount of stress. I felt a bit
overwhelmed and shocked.
Personally, I don’t do well with stress. I start to get sick, sleep
deprived, develop bad eating habits, and I will eventually blow up on someone
(nothing personal).
So, how am
I supposed to get all my study time without stressing and burning out?
- Prioritizing what is important, and having to say no to your friends sometimes
- Study in groups because it allows you to gain new perspectives
- Mental breaks in between studying
As for a stress reliever, praying to my God makes everything better.
